What Knovli costs
You can use Knovli without paying anything: build decks, study them, play, and copy what other people have published. Paid plans raise the limits, remove ads and add tools for teachers. Paid plans start at $4.99 a month.

How buying works
Everybody starts on the free plan, Knovli Base. To change plan, create an account or sign in, then open the store inside Knovli. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time.
A one-time top-up is not a subscription. You pay once and keep what you bought until you have used it, on top of whatever your plan already gives you each month.
If you bought a plan in the iOS or Android app, it is managed through that app store and follows the same account everywhere you sign in.
Schools and districts
The Teacher plans cover a teacher’s own classes, assignments and progress reports. Students who join a teacher’s class do not pay.

Common questions
Is Knovli really free?
Yes. The free plan lets you build flashcard decks, study them in every mode, play the games and copy public decks. It has limits on how much you can create and how many pages you can turn into cards each month; the plans above show the exact numbers.
Do students have to pay?
No. A student who joins a teacher’s class uses Knovli through that class at no cost.
Can I cancel a subscription?
Yes, at any time.
What is a top-up?
A one-time purchase that adds to a monthly allowance — more page scans, for example. It does not renew and it does not expire at the end of the month.
Do I need a card to sign up?
No. An account is free and asks for no payment details.
