1vWorld β you against everyone
1vWorld is the mode for when you want to play and there is nobody in particular to play against. Open it and you are in a round with everybody else who opened it, answering the same questions at the same time.
How a round works
Questions come one after another with a clock on each. Getting one right matters; getting it right quickly matters more, so the board keeps moving even when several people know the answer.
You can see where you stand while you play rather than only at the end, which is most of the reason the mode is fun. A round is short by design β long enough to be a real contest, short enough to fit in the gap before something else.
It counts
Wins and rounds played earn XP on the same ladder as flashcards, Atlas and the Daily Quiz, hold your day streak, and count towards badges. Nothing about 1vWorld is a side pocket.
Who can play
Competitive modes have an age gate, and school and district accounts follow whatever their administrator has configured. Everything else you need is a free Knovli account.
Common questions
How long does a 1vWorld round take?
A few minutes. It is built to fit into a break rather than an evening.
Do I play against real people?
Yes β against whoever else is in the round at the time.
Does 1vWorld cost anything?
No. The free plan includes a monthly allowance of games across all of Knovli; a paid plan removes the limit.
